The red cardinals were flying High again,
but before they lifted their wings, Ipsy had asked,
“Should you be allowed to go?”
Conversing with Faron, he hadn’t noticed the purple, velvet bird
descending, projecting spiraling globes of blue Light
that was happily received by the Friends, particularly Faron.
“The last time you went out,” Ipsy said,
“you returned with your feathers combed back.”
“The zesty wind got in my feathers while I was snuggled
behind the taxi-top sign with my bird-legs crossed.
You can’t blame me for what the wind does!”
“But you flew out, then you went sight-seeing in a taxi!”
“The flight exhausted me,” Faron asserted,
“I was younger then, and I went alone.
Had I not told you the story, you wouldn’t have known.”
“But, Faron, you slid off the taxi, as if you had no wings.
You slid down the back window and the strange lady inside shouted,
“Did I just see a red bird?”
“When the driver made that quick turn, I forgot.
But after that I flew into the window, pecked the driver and got his attention!”
“Then your tail tickled his nose and he sneezed.”
“But he didn’t blow me away!”
“You stayed in the taxi. You didn’t even try to fly home.”
“And I fastened my seat belt,
and when I got home,
I paid the driver with sweet, red cherries!”
“But what did I say to you before you left the nest?”
“You said, ‘If you see Dilly, say ‘Peace’ for me'”
“Not that, Faron!”
“Not that?”
“No!”
“Oh, you said that Dilly might have a ladybug’s spot in her eye because they slap her with one when she pecks them, but Dilly can’t see the spot because it’s IN her eye.
But, you didn’t mention the shimmering Pond and the hammocks for relaxing and the stones and the pergolas for sitting and the birds resembling stately herons, drinking, and adorning aquatic plants and beautiful sloping hills and Harbor Moon, always in perigee, hanging in splendor with its majestic Light casting more Light and PEOPLE! Throngs of people, of all ages, from all facets of life and different places and the Love of the Infinite…”
The Friends cheered and welcomed Faron who was leaving the nest for the second time!

Greetings Na’imah,
I enjoy very much your writings for there is always something to be learned from the reading of them. Aside from that very fact, this particular posting ‘Faron’s Light’ is one of those writings of which I had a grin on my face through the whole reading of it in such a wonderful way. When I read about cherries in your story I flashed to the trip (vacation) I just got back from where I went to this orchard that my family had gone to for years to pick cherries. Nothing taste as good as picking your own fresh fruit. And I got to watch from my friends dinning room window a beautiful pair of Cardinals constructing a nest in a honeysuckle bush supported upon a lattice arbor. I looked next to read about beautiful blue Robin’s eggs and the reason I say this is because you must have been on vacation with me. What a combo!
Love and Light Always,
Lesley
Lesley,
As I read your comments, I could see a cherry orchard; it was beautiful and the Light therein made it appear that cherry-picking would be quite delightful!
Yes, I must have been on that lovely vacation with you because some days ago I saw a bush of honeysuckles on a fence; it brought back childhood memories.
Love your Light,
Na’imah
In many of my posts, I’ve mentioned attuning to Birds in my higher consciousness, though not understanding the meaning of their presence. Most often, I’ve seen white or ecru Birds, and others of many bright colors varying in size and frequency of Light. I’ve also seen Black Birds (You may be interested in Roberto’s The Black Bird, Voice of Venus.) Just recently, I asked The Brothers for understanding; it was revealed that I’ve achieved a more positive state of awareness, that I’ll now understand, and that the new frequency is the reason I’m inquiring.
The Light Birds represent my Superconscious, my contact with it. I L-o-v-e and sincerely enjoy the positive, radiant energies of the Light Birds. The Black Birds (I’ll just walk over them) are symbolic of my lower self, which, like you, I’m striving to leave behind and build a new life for myself beyond the Earth plane.
As I think on these Truths, and about posting them to share with you, a huge Black Bird has appeared, having drifted in quite smoothly. “No one cares,” he whispers, his lackluster presence having no value, no meaning, but to remind me of the upward journey into the Light that I behold and will never abandon, no matter what form or character these Black Birds assume. I will never abandon the Light of the Higher Worlds or the Love and Peace that comes with my alignment with The Brothers.
In The Infinite Concept of Cosmic Creation, chapter 12, it is written that as we widen the gap between ourselves and the material world, we will go into the arts, drama, the expressive arts that depend upon inspirational values that come from within. I have reflected on some of my recent poems and stories, as well as the healings that gave me the freedom to express them. We see our achievements in so many ways, again and again, and the Light therein is Beautiful!
Love and Light to the Black Birds,
The Light Birds,
The Brothers
