BUERGER’S DISEASE

Sometimes referred to as Buerger’s disease, lgA nephropathy is a kidney disease that causes the kidneys to become inflamed. Is a kidney disease that occurs when an antibody called immunoglobulin A (lgA) lodges in your kidneys. No cure exists for lgA nephropathy. This disease is not to be confused with Buerger’s disease (thromboangiitis obliterans) is a rare disease of the arteries and veins in the arms and legs. In Buerger’s disease, your blood vessels become inflamed, swell and can become blocked with blood clots (thrombi)
